Running not cycling gloves
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
&these are literally running gloves with a wind screen. Movement in shifting is a bit awkward. Buy them if you are a runner as you won't want to wear them twice on the bike.

Warm but No Palm Padding

Rode these in 50 degrees F for 1.5 hours. Great concept, love the versatility, but there's no padding in the palm. Pull the mitt over when it's colder or you're going easy, then tuck it away when you warm up and go hard. Hands were warm, but the heel of my palms were sore by the time I got home. Probably great for running or skiing in the spring. Shifting and braking were fine, even with the mitt on.

Very good but could be better
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

- M
I like these and I would buy them again if I lost them. However, it would be nice if the fingers' fabric was wind proof and/or if the convertible mitten portion was lobster style. I like to have my index and ring finger out for shifting/braking but even in the upper 40's my index/middle fingers get pretty cold if they aren't in the mitten. The fingertips are not actually "smartphone compatible" which is a little annoying. Even with the above complaints, I'm a fan of these gloves - I struggle to keep my fingers warm whenever it drops into the 40's and the convertible mitten is a great feature that I wish was built into more gloves. Reflectivity is also great for dark fall/winter rides.
