Race Supersonic Tube

Race day follows a different set of rules -- different breakfast, different alarm time, different tires, and hopefully, different tubes. You need to be racing as light as possible, and a bulk-bought, durable training tube might get you to the finish line, but it won't get you there first. The Continental Race Supersonic Tube is as lightweight as a butyl rubber tube gets. At an ultra-low 50g, this tube shaves 15g from the Race Light tube, but you do pay for it in durability. We can't stress it enough that, while having a greater longevity than latex, the thin butyl tube lives to race -- not to train.

The Continental Race Supersonic Tube is available in a 700c x 18-25mm size with the option of either a 42 or 60mm Presta valve. For your classic build, it's also being offered in a 27in x 1-3/4in size.
