Plug 1 Complete Bike - 2016

Inspired by the stripped-down, utilitarian bikes he saw people riding in the U.S. years ago, Charge Bikes' founder Nick Larsen set out to design a fuss-free singlespeed of his own that would get its pilot from A to B without a hitch; it couldn't hurt if it looked good, too. The result is the Plug 1 Complete Bike, which is the UK-based manufacturer's do-it-all commuter for the less-is-more crowd.

Designed with Charge's "All-Road" geometry and the tried-and- proven material of choice, 6061-series aluminum, the Plug range provides the versatility and durability necessary to take on the rough-and-tumble roads you’re likely to encounter out in the wild. The Plug is characterized by its burly wheels, rack and fender compatibility, and solid component selection, which really just means it's ready for you to throw a leg over it and get after it. The neutral geometry keeps you comfortable as the miles stack up, and its flip-flop fixed or singlespeed rear hub gives you options as to how you want to run your Plug.

The Plug 1 receives a matching alloy fork, dependable Tektro CR-710 cantilever brakes, with Kenda custom skinwall Kwick Tendril tires providing big doses of comfort, traction, and those all-important retro vibes. Charge provides its in-house saddle, seatpost, bar, and matching stem.
