Why We Like The Rosso Corsa Pro 15 Sock
Castelli claims the best sock they've ever made for performance cycling is the Rosso Corsa Pro 15 Sock. And, they might be right. It's constructed from multiple-structure knit with extra stretch and a compressive midfoot support band. An asymmetrical construction mirrors the shape of the foot, and Meryl Skinlife yarns with anti-odor silver ions reduce odor. A cushioning pad under the ball of the foot adds comfort, and there's even a reflective tab at the back.

Very poor quality and way off on size

I will use some insights from a previous review as it describes perfectly these socks: I would like to echo the previous poor reviews on this product. I too based my size order on the provided size chart which is completely useless. I gave them to my wife as they were way to small for a XXL. She wore them ONCE for 1 hour and the threads are coming apart and they hurt her foot. Castelli needs to revisit the fabric used in this product, because it is JUNK. Very disappointed because all my previous Castelli apparel including socks have been high quality in the past. And now I find out they cannot be returned

Just size up!
These socks are Airy, superlight, and cushy soft. Castelli runs small, so size up. And if we're gonna talk about the elephant in the corner, I'm 6'3" NOTHING fits me, and i can't dry anything due to shrinking, because EVERYTHING cotton shrinks. These are like 1.5oz socks, they take 15 min to hang dry. Folks leaving one-star reviews for shrinking items are just crusty & upset at themselves for their laundry choices.. Have a good ride!

Junk - DO NOT BUY

I would like to echo the previous poor reviews on this product. I too based my size order on the provided size chart. After one delicate wash and air dry, the socks shrank by 30-40%, rendering them completely useless. I gave them to my wife. Castelli needs to revisit the fabric used in this product, because it is junk. Disappointed because all my previous Castelli apparel including socks have been high quality in the past.

Don’t Buy - Castelli Junk

I am a 11.5/12 in all shoes. I purchased the XXL based on the size chart. Upon first wearing prior to first washing I thought they were a little difficult to get on but once on they were a good precisian fit. Matching the “Pro” in the product description. I wore them one more time before first washing. I wash all my cycling kit in delicate garment bags only together and in cold water and air dry. After just one washing the socks shrank (cold water & air dry) I know this from the fact they were much harder to get on and I had to pull on the bottom of sock to get heal cup onto my heal. The calf tube of one sock had a fabric run. For you ladies think pantyhose run. At the end of a 43 mile ride upon taking them off that same sock with the run ran further. These socks are a disappointment and ended up in the trash can. This is just not acceptable for Castelli or Competitive Cyclist. If I was a one off that would be that. But, look at the amount of other poor reviews on this product. Save yourself from the headache and don’t buy.

Total Waste of Money

I buy from this site all the time - love Competitive Cyclist. I also have a ton of Castelli product. However, these socks are a disgrace to the brand. Got XXL for my size 11.5 feet (size 44 euro). After 2 washes and air drying they shrunk to the point where they don't really fit anymore. Too small. Can't stop it from shrinking. Right/Left specific socks - what a joke. This product should be pulled from the web site.

Small even by Castelli standards

I have a lot of Castelli kit and I understand that it runs small, at least for Americans. These socks take it to another level. XXL is the largest they make and they're slightly too small for my size 13 feet. It's a bit of a struggle to pull them on but they fit acceptably once on. The toe seam is a bigger problem for me. I just can't get it to a comfortable place and that could be because the socks are so tight I can't adjust them. I'll keep the 2 pairs I bought but can't say I'd buy Castelli socks again.

I wear like 40.5 to 41 shoe and finding a sock with a higher cuff length that also fits my foot can be tough. These are perfect! They are left/right specific with some subtle padding in the toe and foot pad area. That 15 cuff comes up right under to slight over the bottom of my calf with a snug fit.
