Perfetto RoS Glove

When designers at Castelli set out to add a glove to the brand's Perfetto lineup, they knew they had to get things just right. After all — the Perfetto name draws quite a lot of attention, and comes with a high reputation. Fortunately they pulled out all of the stops with the Castelli Perfetto RoS Glove, packing in all new materials, minimal seaming, and just the right amount of cushion to keep you on the road, come rain or shine. The gloves begin construction with new GORE-TEX Infinium fabric that offers water and wind protection on the outside, while a fleece layer inside traps heat and ushers away sweat. The gloves provide ample warmth, despite being deceptively thin, so you can maintain mobility and dexterous control of your shifters and braking. The palm packs in Castelli Damping System, or CDS for short, strategically placing padding where your hand receives the most vibration from the road, aiming to reduce fatigue and elevate comfort while you ride.

I buy Castelli gloves because they have the most padding and protection in the palms. High quality material, excellent product

super high quality cold weather gloves

Bought these on sale after my Pearl Izumi's started falling apart. These are exceptionally high quality gloves - very warm, comfortable and grippy FYI - I found the fit to be quite long in the fingers compared to other Castelli gloves.

Not that warm

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

OK at mid-40's F with a liner but as the day warms, I find I am better off with fingerless, padded gloves. Would not wear these for cold weather, even with a liner glove which I've employed in a silk set. I'm 6' 180 lbs and bought the XXL which was wise as I have just a little wiggle room in the fingers. This is a thin, single layer fabric, unpadded, which may block wind but the cold comes through easily. There is a plastic tip on the pointer-fingers which does not work on waking up my phone. If you want real cold-weather protection, get a pair of old ski gloves.

Good glove for the money

I have only used these once but they fit good on my hand and kept my hands warm. Only downsides are the cuff on them is a bit too tight and hard to get over my jacket sleeve. And you cannot operate your cell phone with them on. They appear to have some kind of material on the pointer finger that I thought was for cell phone use but it does not work. Overall though a good glove for the money.

Great gloves for cool weather

I have average size hands.. The large fits tight, but that's what I want. Just take a little effort on and off, but are perfect when on. These are good for mid 30s to mid 40s. Solid grip on the bars. I wear large for a gloves.

Great mild weather gloves

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Comfortable gloves and good build quality. Great for weather down to the upper 30s as Castelli claims. Could go a bit lower if you are riding hard. They shed light rain but do wet out during moderate to heavy rain. Pads on the palms are much more grippy, flexible, and effective than the Pearl Izumi Cyclone Gloves which I returned. The only reason I am docking a star is that the fingers are a bit long for me.

Good for cool but not cold weather rides

These gloves are thin and after a few rides I can say that they're not going to keep my hands warm below about mid-30s F. They're sold as winter gloves, but I guess that's relative to what winter weather is where you live. In northeast USA, winter riding means getting outside when it's well below freezing. I was hoping for a glove that would be warm down into the mid- or upper-20s F. I consider my hands average for my size and the XL fits pretty well except the fingers are a bit long - better long than short, I guess. Not a bad glove, but I was hoping for something a bit warmer.

These are thin enough to allow operation of gears and grab your snacks without issues but I have used them in 42F weather and did not feel cold at all The gloves are snug and comfortable Highly recommend

Impressively Warm!!

Familiarity:

Several times I have worn these gloves down to 30F and even a little below and hands are comfortable. My hands start off on the cool side but after a few miles and the blood gets flowing things are toasty and stay toasty. I haven’t even broke out my heavier gloves at this point as these are more comfortable in the long run. I would think they are good down to about 25F actual temp but that might be their limit. Just don’t think they would be able to retain the warmth after that. They also held up well in a recent crash to my surprise. Just a little scrape on a knuckle. Replaced them the same day though as I don’t see not having these in my arsenal. Spectacular gloves!!! Gloves can be a little tight getting into at the cuff but besides that I’d say they might run slightly big. I’d love to go down a size to get arid of some extra finger length but don’t think I’d get in them.
