Highly versatile jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have used this jacket in many conditions since I bought it, from windy cold days to torrential downpours. I have had many such jackets over the years and this is by far the best. It kept me dry and warm during a one hour cold downpour, where other jackets let in the rain after a few minutes. I liked the tapered fit and bright orange color. A little heavier than some ultra light windbreakers I have owned, but it still folds up very small. Furthermore I now realize that the ultra light windbreakers don't block the wind very well, like this one does. I don't often get excited about cycling clothes but I am really delighted with this jacket.

adequate, somewhat "packable"
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Small
The jacket is advertised as "packable," but that's misleading. You can indeed roll it up, find a band of some sort to hold it together and fit it in the back of a jersey. But at this price it should include a small attached pouch into which you can fit the entire jacket.

Not Aero
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- L
- Weight:
- 174
I got a size L, 6 feet, 174 pounds. It is easily stuffed in a back pocket. When I did have to use it I found it a bit too loose and flapped in the wind too much. I could tell it slows you down. I try to avoid putting it on since then.
