Why We Like The eeSILK Plus Carbon Suspension Seatpost
Using parallel linkage technology seen in the Thudbuster suspension seapost, Cane Creek designs the eeSILK Plus Carbon Suspension Seatpost to bring in lightness and high performance. With it, we can ride longer and farther with 35mm of vertical compliance for improved control on rough and rowdy surfaces. Fatigue is reduced over long rides, and we like the lightweight feel this seatpost provides.

Wow, it really smooths out the ride
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
After having this on my ibis Hakka mx for a few rides, I don’t think about the Eesilk and I just don’t worry about bumps and washboard sections. This gives me the best of both worlds, a road and gravel bike feel with the comfort of a full suspension mountain bike (so long as I stay on tame terrain)89

Good
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Height:
- 5' 11"
- Weight:
- 175
It is almost 2x heavier comparing to my original rigid CF seat post but same road section I crossed standing up on pedals to save my ass from multiple bruises now I can ride siting comfortably. I actually purchase 2 of them. 6 months ago cheaper aluminum version for commuter and recently more expensive CF for gravel bike. Worth every penny in my opinion but I more concern about long rides comfort then bike weight or speed. Positive comfort Negative 1 elastomer not everybody might like how it looks weight
