It owes its prestige to ingenuity, rider-feedback, and a 50mm rim depth that's balanced by a 20mm width. Not a deep rim for the sake of being a deep rim, it uses a calculated wing profile that's been designed according to the laws of fluid dynamics. The wheels use a full carbon fiber construction to maximize weight savings and stiffness, and accentuating the carbon layup in these fields are straight-pull, stainless steel spokes. Each wheel utilizes Campagnolo's G3 Geometry to maintain a consistent, perfect spoke tension. Coupled with two of the proprietary Spoke Dynamic balancing spokes, the Bora lacing pattern increases transverse rigidity, which increases power transfer while simultaneously eliminating high velocity vibrations. To further increase stiffness and efficiency throughout the drivetrain, the wheelset features an oversized, drive side rear hub flange. The Bora's front wheel uses an aerodynamic 18 spoke lacing pattern, while the rear adds durability with 21 G3 rear spokes.
