Works with 1x12
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Saves my frames from some hits! Works OK with 1x12 drivetrains. When I?m in the hardest gear, the chain rubs on the right side of the guide. When it?s in the easiest, it rubs the left side. It would get 5 stars if not for that. Guide should be a little wider

Cheap plastic and fit issues
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This component matches well with my Absolute Black oval 30T. However, the build quality is fairly flimsy - mostly plastic, which is really underwhelming. Also, the chain guide portion will NOT work with some boost spaced bikes. I ended up grinding the frame - side piece of the plastic jaw down to make it fit my 2020 Stumpjumper 29. AB supplies a lot of spacers for getting away from the frame, but they could make their product work better by making that inside jaw a thinner part.

Works like it should
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought this for my SC Bronson and it fits perfect. I have piece of mind that my chainring is protected from rocks and roots. It was quick and easy to install.
